Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "PROTEÍNAS DE FUSÃO INIBIDORAS DE PROTEINASES" . A invenção descreve um método de melhorar a resistência ou tolerância a patógenos em uma planta e suas plantas descendentes compreendendo integrar no genoma da planta referida um gene codificando uma proteína de fusão compreendendo (a) uma primeira proteína ou domínio protéico com atividade antipatogênica; (b) um peptídeo encadeador; e (c) uma segunda proteína ou domínio protéico com atividade antipatogênica. Ambas as modalidades da invenção são estruturas de genes referidas, as proteínas de fusão codificadas e as plantas transgênicas expressando as proteínas de fusão referidas.
