Processo para proteção da pele de imunossupressão induzida por UV ou de danos à pele induzidos por UV compreendendo a administração tópica de uma composição contendo um extrato de soja ou trevo, e/ou os compostos de isoflavona genisteína, biochanina, dihidro-daidzeína, diadzeína, formonentina, dihidro-geneisteína, 2-dihidro-O-desmetil-angolensina, tetrahidro-daidzeína, equol, dehidroequol, O-desmetila-angolensina ou 6-hidróxi-O-desmetilaangolensina. A invenção também compreende composições contendo estes compostos.
