Abstract
"LUVA DE PANO TECIDO PARA A PROTEÇÃO E COBERTURA DE SUBSTRATOS ALONGADOS" Uma luva de pano tecido (16, figura la), para a proteção e cobertura de substratos alongados, é feita de membros de enchimento e urdume (14a 14b e 12a, 12b), respectivamente. Os membros de enchimento se estendem através do pano para formar cintas de flexibilidade relativa alternantes, que se estendem circunferencialmente, separando cintas de inflexibilidade. Os membros de enchimento podem ser compostos de fios de monofilamentos ou de multifilamentos de grande e pequeno diâmetros e podem incluir arame, especialmente arame resiliente, materiais ajustáveis a quente, incluindo arame servido com poliéster e fios de DREF tendo núcleos ajustáveis resilientemente. Os membros de enchimento podem ser mantidos um em relação ao outro utilização da tecelagem de Leno e mock Leno. O pano pode ser tecido diretamente como uma luva tubular fechada ou tecido plano e dobrado em forma de luva.
