Processo de controle do movimento de pistão de máquina, permitindo efetuar operações tais quais transferência de gases nos motores com câmara de combustão independente ou tais quais ignição e combustão nos motores tradicionais, com volume constante, parando o pistão e mantendo-o em sua posição de ponto morto alto, durante um período de tempo, e dispositivo de aplicação no qual o pistão (1) é comandado por uma alavanca de pressão (3,4) ela própria comandada por uma árvore de manivelas (9) e uma biela (7).
