''APARELHO DE MICROONDAS PARA MANTER UM PLASMA SUBSTANCIALMENTE UNIFORME SOBRE UMA ÁREA RELATIVAMENTE GRANDE''. Um aparelho de microondas para manter um plasma substancialmente uniforme sobre uma área relativamente grande. O aparelho de microondas compreende um vaso de vácuo para manter o plasma em uma sua região de plasma. O aparelho ainda compreende um aplicador de microondas não evanescente que tem dispositivo para controlar sua freqüência de corte. O aplicador de microondas pode compreender uma guia de onda e um volume de material de elétrico colocado dentro da guia de onda. Alternativamente, o aplicador de microondas pode compreender uma guia de onde de crista.
