Esta invenção refere-se a m tratamento com celulase de tecido celulósico para obter efeitos de biopolimento, reduzir a formação de poeira ou fiapos e reduzir a formação de bolinhas durante pelo menos um ciclo de lavagem no referido tecido compreendendo o tratamento do referido tecido com celulase após a etapa de lavagem com detergente e antes da etapa de alvejamento.
