Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "BOBINA SUPERCONDUTORA DE LIMITAÇÃO DE CORRENTE DE FUGA" . Uma bobina supercondutora (10) inclui um primeiro supercondutor (18) formado de um material supercondutor anisotrópico para fornecer uma característica de campo magnético de baixa perda para os campos magnéticos paralelos ao eixo geométrico longitudinal da bobina (10) e um segundo supercondutor (22) que tem uma característica de campo magnético de baixa perda para os campos magnéticos perpendiculares ao eixo geométrico longitudinal da bobina (10). O primeiro supercondutor (18) tem uma característica de resistividade em estado normal condutiva para fornecer uma corrente limitante no caso que a bobina magnética supercondutora (10) está sujeita a uma fuga de corrente.
