Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA REDUÇÃO DO TEOR DE MONÔMERO RESIDUAL EM UMA SOLUÇÃO LÍQUIDA, MISTURA, MATERIAL FUNDIDO, SUSPENSÃO OU DISPERSÃO DE UM POLÍMERO". A invenção é relacionada a um processo para reduzir efetivamente o teor de monômeros residuais em uma solução aquosa, mistura, material fundido, suspensão ou dispersão de um polímero pela pós-polimerização com a adição de um sistema iniciador de oxidação-redução, uma temperatura de reação adequada para o referido sistema iniciador, e um tempo de mistura do sistema líquido que é tão curto quanto possível no reator de produção. Pelo menos um dos componentes iniciadores de oxidação-redução que é necessário para a polimerização dos monômeros residuais é gradualmente, proporcionalmente, ou continuamente adicionado durante um período de tempo que é 10 a 250 vezes maior do que o tempo de mistura do sistema líquido no reator.
