A invenção refere-se ao uso de compostos de fórmula geral (I) em que R significa halogênio ou alquila inferior; n significa 0 - 3; R^ 1^ significa alquila inferior; cicloalquila; benzila opcionalmente substituída com hidróxi, halogênio, alcóxi inferior ou alquila inferior; benzoíla opcionalmente substituída com amino, alquilamino inferior ou dialquilamino inferior; acetila ou cicloalquil-carbonila; e significa um resíduo aromático de 5 membros que é ligado através de um átomo de N e que contém 1 - 3 átomos de N adicionais além do átomo N de ligação, bem como seus sais farmaceuticamente aceitáveis, como substâncias terapeuticamente ativas, especialmente para o controle ou prevenção de distúrbios neurológicos agudos e/ou crônicos.
