Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "PROCESSO PARA PREPARAR 3,3-DIMETILBUTIRALDEÍDO" . Descreve-se um processo para preparar 3,3-dimetilbutiraldeído usando sílica gel para isomerizar 3,3-dimetil-1,2-epoxibutano, que, por sua vez, pode ser preparado por oxidação de dimetilbuteno. Descreve-se, também, um processo para oxidar dimetilbuteno com dimetildioxirano para formar 3,3-dimetil-1,2-epoxibutano. Estes processos provêem um meio econômico para preparar 3,3-dimetilbutiraldeído.
