Abstract
"PROCESSOS PARA CONFERIR ÀS PLANTAS RESISTÊNCIA À DOENÇA, PARA INTENSIFICAÇÃO DE CRESCIMENTO DE PLANTA E PARA CONTROLE DE INSETO PARA PLANTAS". A presente invenção refere-se ao uso de uma proteína ou um polipeptídeo de bactérias gram-positivas, tal como Clavibacter michiganensis subesp. sepedonicus, que gera uma resposta hipersensível em plantas. Esta proteína ou este polipeptídeo pode ser usada(o) para conferir às plantas resistência à doença, para intensificar o crescimento de planta, e/ou para controlar insetos sobre plantas. Isto pode ser conseguido pela aplicação da proteína ou do polipeptídeo gerador(a) de resposta hipersensível em uma forma não-infecciosa em plantas ou sementes de planta sob condições efetivas para conferir resistência à doença, para intensificar o crescimento de planta, e/ou para controlar insetos sobre plantas ou crescimento de plantas a partir de sementes de planta.
