A presente invenção refere-se a um sal de adição de maleato de 5(-2-etil-2H-tetrazol-5-il)-1-metil-1,2,3,6-tetraidropiridina, composições farmacêuticas contendo o sal de adição do ácido e a utilização do mesmo para o tratamento de distúrbios causados por uma disfunção de acetilcolina (AcCh) ou do sistema muscarínico.
