O meio pode ser usado em um aparelho que possa ser incorporado em uma cobertura e um rolo. O meio tem a combinação única de uma resistência à fadiga por flexão. relativamente elevada e uma queda de pressão relativamente baixa. O meio pode compreender um laminado de uma pluralidade de camadas. As camadas intermediárias do laminado podem ser tecidas com uma configuração quadrada. O meio também pode ser usado para outros tipos de secagem.
