"REDES DE COMUNICAÇÃO DE ÁREA AMPLA E DE TELECOMUNICAÇÃO DE ÁREA METROPOLITANA LOCAL DE BANDA AMPLA, ARQUITETURA DE REDE DE TELECOMUNICAÇÃO DE BANDA AMPLA, E, PROCESSO DE OBTER LARGURA DE BANDA EFETIVA AUMENTADA". Uma rede de comunicação de área ampla inclui pelo menos dois sítios de matriz que são interconectados por uma estrutura dorsal de comunicação. Cada sítio de matriz provê uma cobertura sem fio em pelo menos um setor. Pelo menos dois sítios remotos residem em cada setor e são acoplados para um sítio de matriz correspondentes através de um sistema sem fio de banda ampla de um ponto para multi-ponto. A rede preferivelmente inclui pelo menos um nó de serviço que é acessível aos sítios remotos através dos sítios de matriz e estrutura dorsal.
