Corantes de complexo de cromo 1:2 da fórmula: onde R significa C~ 1-9~ alquila ou um radical da fórmula: ou R~ 1~ significa C~ 1-4~ alquila, R~ 2~ significa hidrogênio ou -SO~ 3~M, R~ 3~ significa hidrogênio, metila ou metóxi, R~ 4~ significa hidrogênio, metila, metóxi ou cloro, n significa 0 a 3, M significa hidrogênio ou um cátion não-cromofórico e; Kat^ +^ significa hidrogênio ou um cátion não-cromofórico; são apropriados para tingir camadas de óxido produzidas artificialmente em alumínio ou ligas de alumínio e, assim, fornecer tingimentos de alta fixação à luz em sombras amarelas.
