Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAÇÃO DE PLASTIFICANTES DE ÉSTER" . A invenção refere-se a um processo para a preparação de plastificantes de éster mediante reação de ácidos di- ou policarboxílicos ou seus anidridos com álcoois na presença de um catalisador contendo titânio, zircônio ou estanho. É caracterizado pelo fato de se deixar reagir entre si uma mistura de ácido ou anidrido de ácido e álcool inicialmente a 100 até 160° C sob remoção da água eventualmente formada, terminar a reação com adição do catalisador e pelo aumento da temperatura até aproximadamente 250°C, neutralizar a mistura de reação com uma solução de hidróxido de metal alcalino ou de metal alcalino-terroso aquosa, em seguida separar o álcool em excesso e secar e filtrar o éster bruto remanescente.
