Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA REDUÇÃO DE FERRO DE LEITO MISTO" A presente invenção provê um processo para produção de ferro reduzido direto em uma amenira contínua e eficiente, que inclui provimento de uma mistura de uma composição de óxido de ferro em partículas e uma composição de redutor carbonáceo em partículas; a mistura sendo substancialmente não-aglomerada e tendo um teor de umidade de menos que cerca de 14% de água em peso; posicionamento da mistura sobre um forno de cadinho rotatório; submetendo a mistura a condições redutoras para reduzir uma porção substancial do óxido de ferro, pelo que produzindo ferro esponja; e descarregando o ferro esponja do forno de cadinho rotatório.
