A invenção refere-se a um comprimido compreendendo uma combinação de um meio para prover efervescência em contato com água, bem como um sal solúvel selecionado entre o grupo consistindo em acetato, uréia, e misturas dos mesmos. O meio para prover efervescência em contato com água compreende preferencialmente ácido cítrico e um sal de carbonato, tal como um sal de bicarbonato. Também é provido um processo para fabricação de comprimidos de acordo com a invenção.
