Abstract
"COMPOSIÇÕES BIODEGRADÁVEIS COMPREENDENDO COMPOSTOS DE POLI(FOSFOÉSTER CICLOALIFÁTICO), ARTIGOS, E MÉTODOS PARA USAR AS MESMAS". São descritas composições de polímero biodegradáveis, escoáveis ou flexíveis, compreendendo um polímero tendo as unidades monoméricas recorrentes mostradas na fórmula (I), na qual: cada um de R e R' é independentemente alquileno reto ou ramificado, insubstituído ou substituído com um ou mais substituintes não-interferentes; L é um grupo ciclo-alifático divalente; R" é selecionado do grupo consistindo em H, alquila, alcóxi, arila, arilóxi, heterocíclico ou heterociclóxi; e n é 5 a 1.000, onde o dito polímero biodegradável é biocompativel antes e com a biodegradação. Em uma modalidade, um ou mais de R, R' ou R" é uma substância biologicamente ativa. As composições amorfas contendo uma substância biologicamente ativa, além do polímero, e os métodos para liberar, de forma controlável, as substâncias biologicamente ativas, usando as composições, são também descritos.
