A invenção refere-se a um conector (30) que compreende uma base (32) formando um suporte para detentores de contato (96), as extremidades de contato curvadas das quais se estendem além da superfície planar base (32), para cooperar com os blocos de conexão de cartão. O conector adicionalmente compreende uma barra (114) controlando a posição das extremidades de contato dos detentores (96). A invenção é caracterizada pelo fato de compreender um membro único (142) controlando (174) os movimentos e retorno elástico (148) da barra de controle (114).
