Abstract
"PROCESSOS PARA PRODUÇÃO DE HEXABORATO DE CÁLCIO TETRAIDRATADO CRISTALINO E PARA DESIDRATAÇÃO DA COMPOSIÇÃO DE HEXABORATO DE CÁLCIO TETRAIDRATADO CRISTALINO, HEXABORATO DE CÁLCIO TETRAIDRATADO CRISTALINO, E, COMPOSIÇÃO DE HEXABORATO DE CÁLCIO AMORFO". Um processo aperfeiçoado é proporcionado para a produção de hexaborato de cálcio tetraidratado cristalino, nobleíta sintética, através da reação de ácido bórico e cal em uma pasta fluida aquosa. As condições de reação incluem relações molares de ácido bórico para a água maiores que 0,25: 1, relações molares de cal para o ácido bórico na faixa de 0,05-0,15: 1 e temperaturas na faixa de 60°C - 85°C. Uma concentração de pelo menos 25% em peso de sólidos não dissolvidos na pasta fluida aquosa do produto.
