Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "PRODUÇÃO DE PROTEÍNAS FUNCIONAIS: BALANÇO DE CISALHAMENTO E GRAVIDADE" . A presente invenção proporciona um método para a produção de proteínas funcionais, incluindo os hormônios, por células renais, em um processo de cultivo em conjunto, tridimensional, sensível ao cisalhamento, usando um vaso com parede rotativo. A mistura natural de células renais expressa a enzima 1-a-hidroxilase, a qual pode ser usada para gerar a forma ativa da vitamina D: a 1,25-diOH vitamina D3. As culturas de fibroblastos e o cultivo em conjunto de células corticais renais expressam o gene para a eritropoetina e secretam a eritropoetina no sobrenadante da cultura. Outros genes de resposta ao cisalhamento são também modulados por cisalhamento, tais como os receptores para toxina megalina e cubulina (gp280). Também proporcionado é um método de tratar indivíduo necessitado com as proteínas funcionais produzidas em um processo de cultivo em conjunto, tridimensional, sensível ao cisalhamento, usando um vaso com parede rotativo.
