Abstract
"ARTIGO MANUFATURADO AUTO-LIMPANTE FOTOCATALITICAMENTE ATIVADO, MÉTODO PARA PRODUZIR O MESMO E MÉTODO PARA FORMAR UMA CINTA FLOTADA DE VIDRO". Um método e um artigo são descritos onde um substrato é provido com uma superfície auto-limpante fotocataliticamente ativada por formar um revestimento auto-limpante fotocataliticamente ativado sobre o substrato por pirólise de jato, deposição de vapor químico ou deposição a vácuo de desintegração magnetrônica. O revestimento tem uma espessura de pelo menos 500 Angstroms para limitar envenenamento por íons de sódio a uma porção do revestimento faceando o substrato. Alternativamente, uma camada de barreira de difusão de íons de sódio é depositada sobre o substrato antes da deposição do revestimento auto-limpante fotocataliticamente ativado para impedir envenenamento por íons de sódio do revestimento auto-limpante fotocataliticamente ativado. O substrato inclui substratos de vidro, incluindo folha de vidro e cinta de vidro flotada contínua.
