São providos processos para inibir estenose ou restenose seguido de trauma vascular em um hospedeiro mamífero, compreendendo administração ao hospedeiro, de uma dosagem terapeuticamente eficaz de um agente citostático e/ou inibidor citoesqueletal de modo a agir como um stent biológico no vaso traumatizado. também é provido um processo para inibir ou reduzir a remodelagem vascular seguindo ao trauma vascular, compreendendo administração de uma quantidade eficaz de um inibidor cito-esqueletal. São adicionalmente providas composições e kits compreendendo os agentes terapêuticos da invenção.
