Um portão residencial (200) para estabelecer serviços de vídeo, dados e telefonia é exposto. O portão (200) tem uma barra MPEG (424) conectada de um módulo de interface de rede (410) a primeiro e segundo processadores de vídeo (450). Um microprocessador (434) controla o primeiro e segundo processadores de vídeo enviando sinais de controle através de uma barra de controle (422).
