A invenção proporciona uma composição oral antibacteriana contendo um composto antibacteriano tal como o triclosano, um composto monoalquil fosfato e um tensoativo aniônico; segundo o qual, o efeito antibacteriano sobre o tecido dental é substancialmente aumentado devido à presença combinada do composto monoalquil fosfato e o tensoativo aniônico.
