Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "MELHORAMENTOS EM E RELACIONADOS COM DOCUMENTOS DE SEGURANÇA" . Um fio de segurança compósito, por exemplo, para uma nota de banco, é produzido revestindo-se uma película de alumínio sobre uma película de poliéster (11) e revestindo-se regiões selecionadas com material magnético. Caracteres com substância de revestimento de foto (14 a 18) são a seguir impressos sobre o material magnético, e uma substância química aplicada para remover o revestimento de alumínio, exceto onde protegido pela substância de revestimento. Um revestimento de prata obscurecedor (40) é depois aplicado sobre o material magnético, e um material transparente final aplicado como uma barreira para reduzir o risco de dano durante processamento subseqüente.
