Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA INTEGRAR UM FRAGMENTO DE DNA NO GENOMA DE UMA CÉLULA DE UMA PLANTA MONOCOTILEDÔNEA, E, COMPOSIÇÃO PARA O MEIO DE CRESCIMENTO DE PLANTAS". Um processo para integrar um fragmento de DNA no genoma de uma célula de uma planta monocotilendônea, o processo compreendendo as etapas de 1) incubar, antes de contatar com o fragmento de DNA, uma cultura de células de plantas monocotiledôneas não transformadas em um meio compreendendo um composto fenólico de planta, durante um período de tempo suficiente para estimular a divisão celular e melhorar a competência para integração de DNA estranho; e 2) contatar as células não transformadas com o fragmento de DNA sob condições em que o fragmento de DNA é tomado pelas células não transformadas e é estavelmente integrado no genoma de células não transformadas, para gerar células transformadas.
