Elemento em forma alongada, feito de composto, tal suscetível a mudança na curvatura e sendo capaz de suportar a abrasão, o elemento moldado compreende um corpo alongado oco e um meio composto que é estabilizado no corpo alongado. O corpo oco alongado compreende um ou mais dispositivos de fixação mecânica cuja função é manter o meio composto no corpo alongado, enquanto permite que o meio se mova axialmente em relação ao elemento alongado.
