Abstract
EXTRATO VEGETAL, PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAÇÃO DO MESMO E SUAS APLICAÇÕES NA MEDICINA HUMANA E ANIMAL. A invenção refere-se a um extrato de planta biologicamente ativo a ser obtido por meio de um processo compreendendo as seguintes etapas de: a) pressionar um material vegetal para formar a polpa; b) submeter a polpa obtida a um tratamento a frio ou quente com um solvente orgânico ou aquoso; c) remoção do solvente até um determinado grau de concentração ser obtido; e d) purificação adicional opcional do extrato assim obtido por um ou mais dos seguintes processos: termocuagulação, purificação com sulfato de amônia, precipitação, cromatografia em gel ou resina com intercâmbio de íon.
