Trata-se de uma composição de borracha como uma mistura que contém elastômero(s), e reforço em partículas provido como uma mistura íntima de partículas de negro de fumo e partículas de sílica defumada, com um agente de acoplamento. Um pneumático que tem um componente dessa composição de borracha tal como, por exemplo, uma banda de rodagem, é especificamente contemplado.
