Para que, no caso de uma unidade de construção para rodas de veículos automotores, seja evitado um elevado tensionamento axial inadmissível, ou uma destruição total de partes do mancal e das imediações, o suporte da roda (7), na área do lado frontal do anel externo do mancal deslizante (2), está equipado com ressaltos (8) deformáveis elasticamente.
