Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "REVESTIMENTO INTUMESCENTE À PROVA DE GOTAS" . A presente invenção refere-se a um revestimento contra incêndios e formador de uma camada isolante composto por substâncias que, em caso de incêndio, formam uma camada de espuma e produzem carbono, por agentes aglutinantes que dão origem a uma película, por catalisadores e pelos agentes auxiliares e aditivos usuais, caracaterizadas por conterem, a título de catalisador, melamina e/ou guanidina, sob a forma de sais das mesmas, e/ou melamina microencapsulada. O revestimento contra incêndios e formador de uma camada isolante de acordo com a presente revela-se estável, em particular sob condições tropicais (teor de umidade relativa do ar que pode atingir 100%, temperatura ambiente de cerca de 75°C), ou seja, a quantidade de NH~ 3~ liberada é extremamente reduzida.
