Os compostos da fórmula 1 são agentes antibacterianos e antiprotozoários potentes que podem ser usados para tratar várias infecções bacterianas e protozoários e distúrbios relacionados a tais infecções. A invenção também refere-se as composições farmacêuticas contendo os compostos da fórmula 1 e aos processos de tratamento de infecções bacterianas e protozoárias por administração dos compostos da fórmula 1 .
