Abstract
''PROCESSO PARA DIMINUIR A ACIDEZ E O CONTEÚDO DE CÁLCIO DE UM ÓLEO CRU ÁCIDO DE PARTIDA''. A presente invenção descreve um processo para diminuir a acidez de um óleo cru ácido de partida, compreendendo: adição de um óleo cru ácido a uma quantidade eficaz de uma solução de base aquosa em condições de pH e temperatura suficientes para formar uma emulsão instável de óleo cru ácido na solução de base aquosa; e tratamento da emulsão para formar uma fase contendo óleo cru, tendo uma acidez diminuída e fase aquosa residual contendo base e ácidos neutralizados. A invenção tem utilidade no processamento de óleo cru.
