ARTIGO ABSORVENTE DESCARTÁVEL A presente invenção refere-se a um artigo absorvente descartável. O artigo absorvente descartável compreende uma folha de topo permeável a líquidos; uma folha de forro impermeável a líquidos combinada com a folha de topo; um núcleo absorvente disposto entre a folha de topo e a folha de forro; e uma bainha de barreira dotada de uma borda próxima e uma borda terminal, ficando a borda próxima unida à folha de topo a ficando a borda terminal afastada em relação à superfície superior da folha de topo. A bainha de barreira compreende uma única textura de camada que tem um valor de resistência à água de pelo menos cerca de 150 mmH~ 2~O, e um valor de força de flexão médio menor do que cerca de 25 mg cm²/cm.
