Descreve-se uma protease derivada de queratinócito, que compreende uma sequencia de aminoácidos substancialmente similar a uma sequencia de aminoácidos codificada por uma sequencia de nucleotideos em um plasmideo que tem todas as caracteristicas identificadoras do Depósito n° FERM BP-6120. Descreve-se ainda composições para cuidar da pele e composições detergentes que compreendem o polipeptideo acima.
