Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAÇÃO DE UM COMPOSTO". Um processo para a preparação de um composto tendo a estrutura de fórmula (I) em que A, R~ 1~, R~ 2~, R~ 3~, Y e Z são como definidos na descrição. O processo incluir reagir uma amina heterocíclica com um monoaldeído ou dialdeído na faixa de pH de cerca de 8 a 14 e então quaternizar a amina heterocíclica assim reagida com um agente alquilante a um pH de não menos que cerca de 2. O uso de um controle de pH substancialmente evita a formação de um intermediário protonado indesejável.
