Abstract
"APARELHO DE SUPRIMENTO DE POTÊNCIA". Um conjunto de gerador híbrido compreende um motor/gerador ou um outra fonte elétrica controlável (10) que provê uma saída de voltagem elétrica variável, esta saída é retificada e suprida a um conversor de CC para CC (12), cuja saída (VDC) é usada para acionar um inversor (14) para gerar uma saída de CA que supre uma carga externa. O uso do conversor de CC para CC isola a saída intermediária de CC da saída o gerador, e permite o conjunto gerador operar eficazmente sobre uma larga faixa de velocidade de motor/gerador, de acordo com a demanda de carga.
