A presente invenção se relaciona a uma liga de zinco produzindo revestimentos anti-corrosivos sobre materiais ferrosos; caracterizada como consistindo de zinco mais suas usuais impurezas possivelmente alumínio e/ou chumbo bem como metais ligantes consistindo de entre x e y % de níquel junto com entre v e w % de pelo menos um dos metais: vanádio e cromo sendo que: e é igual ou maior que 0,001, preferivelmente maior que 0,04, y é menor que ou igual a 0,6, preferivelmente menor que 0,2, v é igual a ou maior que 0,001, preferivelmente maior que 0,03, w é menor que ou igual a 0,6, preferivelmente menor que 0,04.
