Patente de Invenção: "2-CIANOPIRROLIDINAS N-SUBSTITUÍDAS" . As N-(N-'glicil substituído)-2-ciano-pirrolidinas, por exemplo os compostos de fórmula: na qual R apresenta vários significados. Elas inibem a atividade de DPP-IV (dipeptidil-peptidase IV). São portanto indicadas para o uso como farmacêuticos na inibição de DPP-IV e no tratamento de condições mediadas por DPP-IV, tais como diabetes melito não dependente de insulina, artrite, obesidade,osteoporose e outras condições de tolerância à glicose prejudicada.
