Abstract
"CIRCUITO DECODIFICADOR DE CANAL, E, PROCESSO E APARELHO PARA DECOFICAR UM SINAL DE RECEPÇÃO CODIFICADO NO CANAL". Circuito decodificador, e um processo associado, decodifica um sinal codificado recebido em um receptor. É feita uma determinação dos níveis de distorção introduzidos em um sinal durante sua transmissão para um receptor em um canal de comunicação não ideal. Se o canal de comunicação introduz quantidades moderadas de distorção sobre o sinal, uma técnica de decoficação complexa tal como uma técnica de decoficação matricial padrão é utilizada para decoficiar o sinal. Se é detereminado que o canal introduz somente pequenos níveis de distorção sobre o sinal, uma técnica de decoficicação relativamente simples é utilizada ao invés disso.
