Uma composição parenteralmente injetável que compreende partículas de um sal de desferrioxamina-B de um ácido sulfônico alifático tendo pelo menos 8 átomos de carbono em um óleo parenteralmente administrável. Novas modificações cristalinas de sal decano sulfônico de desferrioxamina são proporcionadas, e é mostrada uma forma de cristal com notável estabilidade.
