A presente invenção fornece uma nova espécie de Bacilo thuringiensis que exibe ampla atividade antifúngica e antibacteriana. A invenção também fornece o uso da espécie de Bacilo thuringiensis ou o antibiótico produzido pela espécie para controle de uma ampla faixa de patógenos de planta fúngicos e bacterianos.
