Sais de S-alquilisotiourônio com ácidos contendo fósforo, incluindo diversos de tais novos compostos, os quais são para uso como medicamentos para aumentar a pressão sangüínea arterial, ou para proteger contra a hiperoxia. Estes compostos podem ser usados para o tratamento de hipotensão aguda, por exemplo, condições de choque, hipotensão arterial crônica ou envenenamento por oxigênio.
