Abstract
"FORMULAÇÃO DE LIBERAÇÃO CONTROLADA, PROCESSOS PARA A PREPARAÇÃO DA MESMA, PARA MELHORAR O PERFIL DE LIBERAÇÃO DE UM MEDICAMENTO E PARA TRATAMENTO DE COLITE ULCERATIVA, DOENÇA DE CROHN, SÍNDROME DO INTESTINO IRRITÁVEL E/OU DOENÇA INFLAMATÓRIA DO INTESTINO, E, USO DA FORMULAÇÃO". É fornecida uma formulação de liberação controlada, incluindo um núcleo interno compreendendo, ou revestido com, um medicamento, medicamento este possuindo (a) um grupo de ácido livre, que pode ser convertido em um sal de metal alcalino e (b) um pKa na faixa de 2,0 a 9,0, núcleo interno este sendo subsequentemente revestido com uma membrana de controle de taxa, que determina a liberação do medicamento, em que o medicamento está presente como um sal que exibe solubilidade mais elevada em pH 4,5 a 8,0 do que o correspondente composto contendo um grupo de ácido livre.
