"CATETER ANELAR E SEU USO", compreendendo um cateter (10), incluindo: (a) um elemento (12); (b) um anel ajustável (4), preso ao elemento (12), de modo que pelo menos uma porção do elemento (12) esteja substancialmente dentro do anel ajustável (14), o anel ajustável (14) tendo pelo menos um primeiro diâmetro e pelo menos um segundo diâmetro, e o anel ajustável (14) sendo magnetizável; e (c) uma unidade de magnetização (20, 22) localizada perto de uma porção do elemento, a unidade de magnetização (20, 22) determinando quando o anel ajustável (14) tem o primeiro diâmetro e quando o anel ajustável (14) tem o segundo diâmetro.
