Patente de Invenção: "USO DE ANTAGONISTAS DE LEPTINA PARA O TRATAMENTO DE RESISTÊNCIA À INSULINA EM DIABETE DO TIPO II" . A invenção refere-se aos agentes farmacêuticos contendo antagonistas de leptina para o tratamento de diabete do Tipo II. Um antagonista de leptina é baseado em um fragmento de leptina de murino, e compreende os aminoácidos 116 a 167 ou 116 a 166. Os métodos de tratamento do diabete do Tipo II são também divulgados.
