Patente de Invenção: "FÓRMULA NUTRICIONAL PARA PACIENTES COM FENILCETONÚRIA" . Uma fórmula nutricional para pacientes com PKU. A fórmula nutricional tem, como uma fonte de proteína, uma mistura de caseíno-glico-macropeptídeo e aminoácidos essenciais complementares que não sejam Phe para fornecer um perfil de aminoácido equilibrado. São também incluídos vitaminas e minerais para satisfazerem os requisitos diários. Quando usada como uma dieta completa, a fórmula nutricional inclui uma fonte de carboidrato e uma fonte de gordura. No entanto, a fórmula nutricional pode também ser usada como um suplemento de proteína em cujo caso a fonte de carboidrato e a fonte de gordura podem ser omitidas. A fórmula nutricional tem um sabor agradável.
