Abstract
"DISPERSÃO DE PARTÍCULAS DE UM POLÍMERO DE UM MONÔMERO POLIMERIZÁVEL POR ADIÇÃO, PARTÍCULAS POLIMÉRICAS E ESPUMA DE POLIURETANO". Um polímero poliol é produzido por um processo compreendendo polimerizar por radical livre um componente monômero di-(fenil substituído) por exemplo, éster matacrílico de éter diglicidílico de tetrabromobisfenol A) polimerizável por adição na presença de um poliol, sendo que o monômero tem pelo menos um halogênio aromático e pelo menos um substituinte etilenicamente insaturado aromático. O polímero poliol também pode ser feito copolimerizando o dito monômero com um componente monómerico etilenicamente isaturado adicional tal como estireno e acrilonitrila. Os ditos polímeros polióis foram reagidos com um componente isocianato formando uma espuma de poliuretano retardante de chamas.
